2021 Opening night The Ambitious Dali BIA Brisbane Australia.

THE AMBITIOUS DALI

Art Group exhibition BIA

Brisbane Australia

Dear participant at the Opening night,

We, all the artists, want to say you a big THANK YOU!

We are incredibly grateful for your visit! Without the public any exhibition makes no sense!

Despite the heat that we had in the Gallery, we had an amazing time!

The energetic atmosphere, your smiles, your comments, the contact you had with artists, your contribution to the artists and to the Breast cancer network Australia buying art works is amazing!

You can continue supporting artists by buying art, on this website you will find the artworks to be purchased online.

We, all the artists, are proud of the effort that we did creating the artworks for this exhibition in these exceedingly difficult times, where art sometimes is placed at the least important place, and government funds are constantly cut.

Also, some of the artists put in an extra effort coming from Sydney and Rockhampton, just for the opening night!

Special tanks to Mr Alfonso Vega de Seoane Honorary Consul of Spain in Brisbane and Mrs Gloria Pena, Executive Assistant Honorary Consul of Spain in Brisbane. We enjoyed your speech, warm, respectful, and encouraging.

Thank you to Camaron de la Vega for his fantastic performance playing guitar! It looked like we were in Spain with Salvador Dali!

Thank you for our Sponsors, MC Fillin Director Rod Oge, TASSCA President Manuel Serrano, QUINCE Director Manuel Serrano, Gestalt ART THERAPY CENTRE Directors Yaro Starak & Gemma Garcia.

Thank you, Ana Maria Duque, Meana Taee, Peta & Bruce Lloyd for your support during the installation day. Thank you, William & Martin Duque, for your support at the Sales table during the opening night.

The Guitar Artistry of

Camaron De La Vega

Flamenco Gypsy Jazz Latin Guitarist

Concert Performer

Composer

From energetic rhythms to nostalgic melodies, virtuosic playing to sentimental harmonies, Camaron combines Flamenco, Afro-Cuban, Latin American, Jazz, Gypsy and Contemporary music to express a unique musical journey through both composition, and a new twist on traditional music from around the globe.

He blends this wonderful musical heritage on his instrument of choice, the Flamenco Guitar, performing an eclectic mix of both relaxing and exciting music.

Enjoy Camaron’s mastery of the Flamenco Guitar as he both thrills and sooths with his unique sound.

Camaron De La Vega

Camaron has played guitar for many years gathering broad experience in all styles leading him to specialise in Flamenco and Gypsy Jazz.

He has performed concerts all over the world and has recorded 2 albums of his own music. Combining the deep groove and rhythmic intricacy of Flamenco with the harmony and phrasing of Jazz and improvised music, he is constantly searching for those moments that bring the magic to the audience through his guitar.

Further developing his concert career, Camaron performed his original compositions at the 2018 Darwin Guitar Festival as the headlining artist.

He also performed solo concerts at Sunshine Coast University in June 2019 And in July 2019 he performed with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra at The Concert Hall at QPAC.

He has performed concerts for BEMAC (Brisbane Multicultural Arts Centre)

As a concert headliner and as accompanist for many great artists including Zannah, Shenzo Gregorio and many others.

Recently he was involved with the 40 Hour Jammin’ a charity event Raising funds and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease. This great event founded by Shenzo Gregorio.

He lived in Taipei Taiwan for a year and performed many shows from concerts to corporate events to Jazz bars throughout his stay.

Performing in Taiwan with local and international musicians was a great experience and an exciting exchange of musical and cultural ideas.

He also was involved with small tours from Taiwan to Hong Kong and Japan.

Qsong awards (Australia) nominee and Vanda and Young International Song Competition finalist (Worldwide), Camaron has many years experience performing for corporate and private events, weddings and just about any occasion requiring quality acoustic music.

This plus countless touring dates across the globe has kept Camaron busy for the past 20 years.

In 2007 he lived in Spain and immersed himself in the Gypsy atmosphere there, performing concerts and jamming with friends in Sevilla, Cordoba and Jerez. He was also based in Barcelona where he performed concerts to much acclaim.

During 2004 he studied guitar in renowned Flamenco academy Taller Flamenco in Sevilla, and spent time in Granada learning from famous local guitarists. He then moved to England where he performed private concerts at Henley on Thames, and in London, Edinburgh and Paris. Additionally he was guest artist for the 'Total Guitar Sundays' series of lectures, workshops and concerts in Dublin, Ireland. Previous international experiences have seen Cameron perform concerts in Thailand, Christmas Island and Indonesia.
